An independent room is one door and one bed for you. A shared PG is a place with more than one bed. Just a bed means your bed in a shared room. Food, rules, and who else lives there are separate questions. This is general guidance, not a promise about a particular listing. See PG vs independent room.

See the room yourself. Ask what the rent covers, how many people share, what the deposit is, and what happens when you leave. Get anything you pay in writing, with a receipt. The Dehradun PG checklist is general advice, not a RoomWroom inspection.

Put the same facts side by side: monthly rent, deposit, what is included, how many people, distance from campus, and house rules. A private room can cost more and still be the calmer choice. A shared bed can be cheaper and still be the wrong fit. RoomWroom’s three labels exist so that comparison can start from the same words.

Rent is only one line. Ask about deposit, electricity, water, food, laundry, Wi-Fi, and transport to campus. RoomWroom is not publishing a Dehradun price list, because those figures change and this site has not verified a current survey. Plan the month, not just the rent.

Visit it. Meet the person who is renting it. Compare the room with the photos. Ask who else has a key. This is general advice. RoomWroom does not claim that a listing has been verified unless that listing says it was checked, and even a check is only as fresh as its date.

Who the parties are, the address, the rent, the deposit, what is included, the notice period, and house rules you are expected to follow. RoomWroom does not supply that contract and is not a party to it.

Pressure to pay before a visit, a price that skips every detail, photos that do not match the address, and a sender who will not meet. Treat those as reasons to stop, not as proof of a crime. RoomWroom cannot investigate a chat that never came through the product.
